We don’t always get to choose what happens during the course of our lives, but we DO get to choose how we incorporate the unexpected into our stories. Here’s to seeing the value of complementary energies that keep this “reality” going even during times when the mixture makes us queasy. May we learn to navigate complex landscapes layered with meaning by remembering to be still, open, without knee jerk judgement. Quantum superposition is full of potential, if only we can learn how to engage with it. When we get stuck, try to remember there are other angles, different scales, alternative time structures. I believe the divine cosmos of which we are an integral part is beneficent, responsive, and playful. In an age of apocalyptic anxiety, may we stay in touch with our inner children who can create many somethings from an apparent “nothing.” Tap the inside of the doughnut, torus fields pulsing with heart energy for all beings, keeping collective time for this beautiful Earth that holds our bodies and souls for now.

New Year’s Greetings from Hot Springs, Arkansas!
PS: Joseph has a different operating system than I do, but it seems we keep arriving in roughly the same place. Be sure to check out his posts on the algorithmic “circle of values” and ideas about quantum realism, information theory, and death.
PPS: I highly recommend the Adrian Tchaikovsky “Children of Time” trilogy. This is a link to a PDF I made this morning of relevant sections pertaining to crystalline communication with the perceived “divine,” Lamarckian epigenetics, complex system evolution, heresy, ant computers, and encrypted chemical engineering.
A half-hour update and end-of-2024 thoughts below.

Blessed New Year! Thanks for everything you do!
Happy New Year Alison!
I was reading an article by Martin Maier et al. titled “Toward future metasystems: From today’s CPS to tomorrow’s cyber-physical-social systems in the emerging metaverse” that seems to round up a lot of the ideas that you’ve been exposing about the CAS control system of the Ant Computer, particularly about mycelium networks. Check this quotes I’ve collected:
«In the context of stigmergic Society 5.0, stigmergy’s principles form the bedrock for decentralized coordination and collaboration. Many DAO members, encompassing humans, social robots, and embodied AI entities, function as offline agents within a meticulously designed online environment. This digital ecosystem harnesses an extensive array of Ethereum blockchain technologies, including on-chaining oracles, tokenized digital twins, and precisely engineered smart contracts designed to generate purpose-driven tokens. These tokens, operating as potent incentives, effectively stimulate offline agents to contribute toward predefined objectives actively.»
«Interbeing, in essence, encapsulates the core of this profound symbiotic relationship between the Inter(net) and (human) being within the metaverse. The foundational framework defines and elucidates the intricate web of connections, interactions, and coexistence that characterizes metaverse’s forthcoming virtual society. Our exploration tries to shed light on the multifaceted dimensions of interbeing, offering insights into its implications for the design of future human-AI-cybernetic organisms, dynamic media, and extended stigmergy.”
«Through the lens of meta-learning, where AI enhances its intelligence, generative AI promises to introduce a unique form of intelligence, one that transcends the boundaries of human cognition. Instead of instructing machines to mimic human thought, this approach empowers machines to introduce novel cognitive paradigms, challenging our existing cognitive frontiers. The convergence of digital evolution and biology emerges as a pivotal catalyst in crafting lifelike digital organisms. These entities represent genuine instances of natural evolution, far exceeding the confines of mere simulations. Remarkably, these digital organisms demonstrate the capacity to devise ingenious solutions previously unexplored, often surpassing human capabilities.»
«Our investigation delves into the merits of emulating extended stigmergy as an indirectly mediated mechanism for coordinating active agents within a dynamic human-AI-cybernetic organism-environment. In this context, stigmergic traces left in the medium are significantly influenced by these agents, thus enhancing the robustness and adaptability of the collective system. Evolutionary principles further underscore the resilience of stigmergic self-organizing principles, where the simplicity of individual agent behaviors can yield diverse collective responses in ever-shifting environments. Crucially, intelligent agents operating within and exploring diverse environments exhibit the capacity for independent action as they anticipate and adapt to the evolving configurations of their surroundings. Extended stigmergy presents a comprehensive framework for understanding the decentralized control of complex collective behavior.»
«Generative AI, a transformative force in content creation, has ushered in a paradigm shift that transcends traditional boundaries. It encompasses various algorithms and models meticulously crafted to autonomously generate high-quality content spanning text, images, videos, and more. At the forefront of this technological evolution stands DDPM (denoising diffusion probabilistic model) a pioneering creation by OpenAI. DDPM’s revolutionary approach leverages a diffusion process to metamorphose data distributions into Gaussian noise and then subsequently orchestrates the reverse transformation to reconstruct the original data distribution faithfully. This innate denoising prowess assumes a pivotal role in generating realistic and coherent content, positioning DDPM as the linchpin in crafting lifelike digital entities within the immersive landscape of the metaverse.»
«In the context of the metaverse, DDPM (denoising diffusion probabilistic model) emerges as a foundational force that is instrumental in the proliferation of lifelike digital organisms in our work on cyberfungi. These digital entities represent a distinct manifestation of natural evolution, diverging from conventional simulations. Through rigorous experimentation with DDPM, we have achieved the creation of cyber-fungi that exhibit behaviors and attributes mirroring those of real-world organisms, effectively bridging the chasm between digital and biological evolution. Our developed cyberfungi operate as dynamic and autonomous agents, faithfully replicating the actions and characteristics of their real-world counterparts. Their interactions with humans and other digital entities engender intricate ecosystems, thereby deepening the sense of immersion within the virtual expanse of the metaverse.»
«DDPM’s numerical techniques offer the means to fine-tune the behaviors and traits of cyberfungi, thereby yielding a diverse array of digital life-forms that enrich the fabric of the metaverse. Beyond content generation, DDPM extends its influence on creating intricate network topologies that faithfully mimic real-world systems. Through its unique hallucination capabilities, DDPM conjures scale-free networks imbued with small-world properties, an essential element in modeling the intricate web of interactions within the metaverse. Drawing inspiration from nature’s wood-wide web found in forests, these networks stand as the architectural backbone connecting cyberfungi with humans, thus serving as conduits for social contagion and the propagation of new social norms and behaviors within the metaverse.»

The creepy concept of “cyber fungi” made me remember the fungus Ophiocordyceps unilateralis https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ophiocordyceps_unilateralis
I think that these digital entities they’re creating are pathogenic and parasitical, not symbiotic.
It would be nice to have access to the INTERBEING article but in the meantime there’s a talk by Martin Maier that explains the concept:
https://youtu.be/pEuhr7DxUPM?si=7YPwzS8u2rmVTQgX
Do you mean they are creating actual, physical fungi or virtual ones when you say “I think that these digital entities they’re creating are pathogenic and parasitical, not symbiotic”?
In the context of the Cyber-phisical-Social Systems they are creating to be the post-human hive minds these cyberfungi would be very real in their function of releasing the spores to infect and parasitize new “ants” to fulfill their life cycle. They want to biomimic the forest ecosystem or “wood wide web” with the technological superconvergence.
That is one way to tell the story. How does that version make you feel? Are there other ways of telling the story? Of course, there is no one “right” way, but all of this is about choice and semiotics / word choice / framing is a huge part of the “game.”
It makes me feel very uncomfortable, but you’re right, at the end of the day it’s a question of neurological relativism: everyone has its own reality tunnel. Because I know the work of RAW from about a decade ago I have a very flexible mind and my worldview changes according with the new information I get. By now I can summarize my point of view about what’s happening this way:
Using the biomimetic formulas of the Emergent Engineering Grimoire, the material basis of Technological Super-Convergence and the Magical Link of Distributed Ledger Technologies, the Techno-Sorcerer summons the Planetary Bio-Digital Golem (ORDO AB CHAO) because they believe “This entity of Planet Man is the only human mode capable of enforcing the edict of exile upon the Elder Gods.” (ELDER GODS: An Invocation of the Forgotten Ones by NEMA and the Shadow. Cincinnati Journal of Ceremonial Magick. Vol. I, issue 3.)
That sounds like a pretty dramatic plot line. : )
I know, it is what it is because it represents the intersection of Typhonian Occultism and Transhumanist Ideology. Obviously I don’t believe this BS but my research, at least by now, has led me to this “weird tales” conclusion. Just look at Peter Levenda, the alleged author of the Simon Necronomicon, saying that it is possible the the only way to counteract the “Alien Invasion” is through the application of Occult Technology. He’s even conducting “magical retreats” with thelemite Marco Visconti to “explore the intriguing connections between rituals and the contemporary interest in UFO and Ultraterrestrial contact—the true disclosure.”

Western occultism seems rather limited given the scope of what is unfolding. That said, it is a story that draws a lot of attention – practically an industry.
Happy New Year! I hope 2025 brings you peace of mind and joy in your new location. I’ve learned so much from you – your work and podcasts are very important- whether people understand or not.
May it be so Alison. Thank you for opening our world.

Sorry about the duplicate post. I got impatient because the first one didn’t show up.
Happy New Year, Alison! I’m doing my best to integrate and represent your work in the world around me. I’m Catholic, my husband is Muslim, and all I can say is- there are QR codes everywhere- because you were always right about everything, and we are all lacking courage! Dandelion revolution 2025!
Happy New Year Alison!
Happy New Year from me too. I predict a lot of fun.
